Alex Lu was Director of Far East Marketing at an Atlantic City casino hotel. On March 16, 2004, Mr. Lu was arrested for Conspiracy to Transport Individuals in Furtherance of Prostitution and Interstate Travel Aid of Racketeering. Mr. Lu was charged with conspiracy "to recruit and transport young Asian women to engage in prostitution at various casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey in return for profit." In addition, Mr. Lu was charged with arranging prostitution for his casino customers. On May 27, 2005, Mr. Lu pled guilty to Using a Telephone to Facilitate Interstate Transportation of Prostitution. On September 26, 2005, Mr. Lu was sentenced and placed on probation for ten (10) days and fined $1,000.
